Avenue Chiro & Rehab is a chiropractic clinic that provides effective care to optimize your health and well-being.

Our goal is to be an avenue for patients to find success in their physical and mental health. We want to serve the Hamilton area as an inclusive space for all members of the community.

Our philosophy is to utilize a biopsychosocial model towards the assessment and treatment of our patients across all ages and health statuses.

We believe healthcare should be cost-effective, transparent, collaborative, and patient-centered.

Meet the Team

Dr. Christine Le, DC, HBScKin

Dr. Christine Le is an evidence-based chiropractor currently practicing in Hamilton and Mississauga. A proud alumna of McMaster University, she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Summa Cum Laude distinction. As a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, she brings a wealth of experience from multidisciplinary clinics, interprofessional collaboration, and the latest knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries.

 

Her goal is to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care grounded in a biopsychosocial approach, coupled with manual therapy for optimal physical rehabilitation. Dr. Le employs functional integrated acupuncture, spinal manipulations/mobilizations, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, active rehabilitation exercises, and other modalities to manage pain.

 

As a first-generation Canadian, Dr. Le brings a unique cultural perspective to her practice and is fluent in Vietnamese. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is an enthusiast of music production, podcasts, and hiking.

Sarah Masoomeh Mozhdehi

Sarah Masoomeh is a highly skilled physiotherapist with an international background, holding a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s from the University of Coventry in England. Since becoming licensed in Canada, she has gained extensive experience treating patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, making her a trusted figure in the field.

In 2017, Sarah Masoomeh specialized in pelvic health, driven by a passion to support women with pelvic floor concerns, particularly through the unique challenges of pre- and post-partum. Her approach combines acupuncture, shockwave therapy, and manual mobilization, offering comprehensive, patient-centered care tailored to each individual.

A first-generation Canadian, Sarah Masoomeh is fluent in Farsi and Dutch and speaks conversational Turkish, allowing her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Tanisha (Nisha) Amankrah

Tanisha (Nisha), is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for holistic wellness.

She earned her honours diploma in Clinical Massage Therapy and specializes in creating personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their wellness goals.

With a strong foundation in various massage techniques and a commitment to ongoing education, she’s a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist, Yoga Instructor, and Functional Movement Specialist with over 8 years of teaching movement practices.

After a car accident in 2010, yoga, massage therapy and functional movement helped her overcome chronic pain and ignited a passion to help others. Her approach focuses on understanding each client's unique needs, ensuring that every session promotes relaxation, relief, and overall well-being.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys travelling, kickboxing, making and listening to music, and growing her crystal and plant collection.

Courtney Duong

Ket (Courtney) Duong is a dedicated chiropractic assistant studying under Dr. Christine Le. Currently in her fourth year of a five-year program at McMaster University, Courtney is pursuing a Health Sciences degree with a focus on Biology and Pharmacology. With a passion for healthcare and a goal of continuing her studies in medicine, she’s committed to making a positive impact in the field.

 

She is a first-generation Canadian whose fluent in both Vietnamese and Cantonese. Outside of her academics, she enjoys exploring her creativity through cooking, constantly experimenting with new recipes from around the world, and immersing herself in the latest video games.

 

Whether she's diving into a new playlist or honing her culinary skills, Ket values the balance between dedication to her goals and the joy of creative pursuits.
